Judy will be fast-tracking the learning curve, guiding students to completing several small works of art. Valuable resources will be provided, helping students advance and quickly gain the skills and confidence to create their own scratchboard paintings.
Lessons: Participants will be introduced to basic scratchboard tools and a variety of black-surfaced scratchboard papers and panels. Judy will work with the class step-by-step, providing reference photos, teaching what subjects work best for scratchboards, and showing different ways to transfer an image to the black surface.
