Class Content: Learn how to splash with watercolor washes to create an interesting painting! Using a reference photo provided by the instructor, you will learn her process step-by-step. The background will be done with variegated watercolor washes and sea salt, with the central focus area of the painting masked off. Next, you will blow dry it and then rub off the masking fluid. Then Diann will demonstrate how to do a more controlled watercolor application on the focal point. After the watercolor steps are completed, you will blow dry it again and then use the ink pen to enhance the artwork.
