Class Content: Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw something that gives the illusion of three-dimensional on a two-dimensional surface? or do you want to improve on what you already know? Do your paintings or drawings look “flat” or uninviting? This will be a Beginner and Intermediate level drawing class to teach how to draw with form and depth.
We will cover important fundamental drawing skills, tools and techniques such as value, Contrast, and tone to develop a drawing that will bring your drawing from 2 Dimensional (flat) to 3 Dimensional (a form). We will also be learning how to use drawing tools such as: H, HB, B and Ebony pencils and different types of erasers. Drawing strokes, proper drawing paper, blending, and transferring images will also be covered during this class.
Step by Step instruction will guide you to learn what I consider one of the most fundamental elements in drawing and improve what you already know. We will have ample time to practice these skills in order to gain understanding of the techniques before class ends.
Please bring a lunch.
